Emily Ray

Emily acquired her talent for design from her mother who was creative in so many ways... an artist, a seamstress, and interior designer. It was her father, however, who encouraged her sense of hard work and entrepreneurship, which has impelled Emily to earn a position as one of the South's most renowned jewelry designers.

Emily found that she had a love for the specialty store retail business after convincing her first employer to hire her at the age of 15. She started with window and case display, and from there it was onto the sales floor and eventually buyer. It was at this point she realized a niche in the market that was not being satisfied.

Her intuitive sense of style and motivation for quality have acquired a very loyal customer base over her years in business. Emily designs three collections each year for over 600 total pieces.

The guiding principles behind her designs are that they are fresh, but not trendy; and the very best quality, but affordable. Emily Ray jewelry is made for "every girl", because Emily believes that, no matter a woman's age, when she looks great, she feels more feminine. Although Emily works in many materials, including freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones, and more, her signature is Swarovski Austrian crystals, and all of her designs are sterling silver based. Emily's collections are predominately for every day and every outfit; but also include an excellent selection of bridal and occasion jewelry.
