Walter is the quintessential southern gentleman.  He has been married for twenty-two years to Renee, whose smile he says, “lights up his life!”  Walter and Renee have two beautiful children, Molly 17 and Mark 13.

Walter has tons of energy and enthusiasm, which are indispensable to his very active lifestyle.  He spends days at a time traveling around to Emily Ray customers in several states, and comes home to lots of hustle and bustle.

Proud to be from the great state of Mississippi, Walter loves hunting, fishing, anything you can do outdoors, family, friends and the Mississippi State Bulldogs!

His heart lies in Faith, Family and Sadie, his “man’s best friend” who he rescued from the local animal shelter.  Walter teaches 11^th grade Sunday school at his church where he and his family are always involved in projects and activities.

Walter appreciates that his job at Emily Ray is a new experience every day.  He enjoys the traveling and likes representing a product that is made especially for “specialty retailers”, because “they’re the best!”

He has worked in the gift industry for over twenty years with companies like Ganz, One Coast, Silvestri and Applause.  He loves Emily Ray Jewelry’s exceptional customer service, team atmosphere and exclusive Lifetime Guarantee.

Gwyn and her husband, Michael met on a blind date over 25 years ago and her eyes still twinkle when she talks about him.  He is truly the love of her life.  They have two amazing sons, Brandon 23 and Cameron 21.  Gwyn says being mom to her sons is unequivocally her proudest accomplishment in life.

She was born and raised in eastern North Carolina and fell in love with Tryon, NC, just north of Spartanburg, after spending a vacation there taking horseback riding lessons.  They bought a small horse farm in Tryon where they love living.

Gwyn opened a lovely ladies clothing boutique in Spartanburg where she carried Emily Ray jewelry for years.  She has first hand experience with Emily’s exceptional customer service practices; and she loves the company’s dedication to focusing on independent specialty stores.

After owning a specialty store herself, Gwyn says she really enjoys calling on and working with our retail customers because she feels a unique connection with them, and she has a lot of respect for the challenges they face every day.

Gwyn loves to cook and spend time with her family.  Her husband frequently travels too, so she says a perfect weekend for her is having everyone home, cooking a fabulous meal and relaxing with a great movie.

Gwyn serves on the board of directors of Spartanburg Regional Hospice.

Rick was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas.  He’s a self-professed “100% Texas Tech Red Raider”, who now calls Dallas home…forever Texan!

Family is Rick’s driving force.  He spends a lot of time on the road, and loves coming home to his beautiful wife, Jan, of over 36 years.  Rick and Jan raised two amazing children, Brent and Ashley.  Both were married last year, and Brent and his wife have blessed them with their first granddaughter, Sloan.

They are often referred to as the “Griss-Willson” family.  They genuinely enjoy their time together, boating and traveling.

Since the kids are grown and out on their own now, their pet Yorkie, Bodacious, rules the Willson roost.  Rick says Bodacious and Jan are a team, and they just let him live there!

Rick has been in sales for a “really long time”.  He started with Frito Lay and has worked with companies like Sylvania, Hanes, Brighton and others.  Rick has represented Emily Ray jewelry for nearly 10 years and loves it!

Lynn and her husband, Mark, of 20 years have dedicated much of their lives to children.  Lynn was a social worker for ten years before coming to Emily Ray Jewelry.  Mark is the assistant principal at a local Spartanburg high school, and currently working on his PhD in education.

Children are still the light of Lynn’s life…but now they are her own children. 

Daily life at the Seay’s home is interesting, to say the least, because their beautiful children are nine years apart in age!  Caroline, 15, is a sophomore in high school and Ethan, six, is in first grade.  Lynn…with pride and joy (and occasional terror) in her eyes…sometimes slips, “what was I thinking?!”

She was born in Akron, Ohio, but Lynn has spent most of her life in Spartanburg and claims to be all “southern girl”.  She earned her BA in Psychology from University of South Carolina… “Go Gamecocks”!

Lynn has been a valued part of the Emily Ray team for 10 years.  She does a wonderful job running our Customer Care department because she truly cares about our customers, and they have come to love her over the years as we do.

Lynn’s dream is to retire to an inherited family farm in the countryside of South Georgia where she has wonderful memories of family gatherings.

The first thing you may notice about Royal when you meet her is her sweet southern voice and demeanor…but don’t let that fool you; we have seen Royal get pretty animated about her sports. 

Game day at the Comer’s house can be a bit intense since Royal and her husband, Keith, graduated from notoriously rival colleges… University of South Carolina and Clemson University.  But it’s all in fun, and her sweet nature returns at the end of the day when they change out of their team shirts and forget all about who won.

Royal was born and raised in Spartanburg and has a degree in biology.  Emily Ray Jewelry was intended to be a transition job between school and career, but she fell in love with the job and the company, and has now been here for 6 years! 

One of the many attributes that makes Royal so great at her job is her meticulous nature.  She personally handles all of our repairs because she wants customers’ jewelry to be as beautiful as the day they purchased it. 

Royal also loves talking to customers and helping them create orders that are just right for them from the many options available in the Emily Ray line.

To unwind, Royal often turns to baking…then she brings her goodies to the office, which we love!  Our current favorites are her Cotton-Candy cupcakes and Heath Caramel Apple Dip!
