Mallory Ray
Mallory’s playhouse as a child was her mother’s closet. She would spend hours-on-end putting outfits together, accessorizing, and playing “fashion show.” To this day, Mallory’s closet is one of her favorite creative outlets…which is apparent when you meet her. She has a talent for looking like a million bucks, even in an outfit she just casually threw on.
Mallory grew up at Emily Ray Jewelry and confesses that, as a child, the colors and textures of all the beads in her mom’s design studio were much more fun to her than any candy store. She still feels that way today when she walks into her own design studio. Jewelry design is literally in Mallory’s blood.
Mallory feels very blessed to work side-by-side with her mom and feels that she learns from Emily every day.
After spending most of her life in South Carolina, Mallory recently moved to Nashville, Tennessee, just because she thought it would be fun! She lives with her sister, Katie, which she says right away made Nashville feel like home.
Cooking and baking is what Mallory likes to do to “chill-out”. And, Mallory doesn’t just bake cookies and cakes…she makes them look as good as what you’d see in “Southern Living” magazine. We love it when Mallory spends time in the kitchen because she scarcely eats what she cooks (as you can clearly tell by looking at her), but she loves cooking for people.
After her mom and sister, Mallory’s next “best friend” is her dog, Stella, the cutest little all white Shih Tzu you’ve ever seen. Everybody loves Stella who will get right up in your lap and actually wrap her little paws right around your neck to snuggle up to you. She’s soooo sweet…just like Mallory!
